It is all back together and up on the wall and running!

I completed the work on the windchest and adjusted both the valves and the springs on the bellows. I also recovered the windchest with the traditional marble paper which is an exact match to the original paper.

After several times up and down on the wall making minor adjustments it is now up and running keeping perfect time.

This is a very early Jakob Baurele clock circa 1858 which has a primitive charge as it is one of the first trumpeter clocks ever created. The great feature of this clock is its exposed and animated trumpeter figure who on the hour raises his trumpet to his mouth and turns side to side as he plays the charge.

I will soon post a video of the clock in action, so stay tuned in!
